Every gym or boxing club should have a good boxing ring. If you’re really serious about combat sports training, then you must have a ring or MMA cage in your gym. Boxing rings can be divided into: free-standing and elevated. The former are ideal for training, whereas elevated rings are usually used for competitions. We shouldn’t forget about MMA cages either, these are used for ultimate fight training. They are usually octagonal, hence the nick-name “octagons”.
