Other advantages of heavy bags include being able to use their motion for training drills: You can use them to train for movement, as in partner training, using double blocks, or slips to escape from the specific technique of an opponent’s line of attack. We recommend using hand wrap and 16 Oz sparring gloves for intense heavy bag workouts. The additional padding will protect your fists and the added weight will provide better conditioning.
